WHEN SELLING: The First Showing

Studies show that most buyers decide if they are going to purchase a home within the first 30 seconds of entering the door. This is why first impressions are so important, there is only ONE.

As a human, I understand that your home isn’t always kept like Mrs. June Cleaver’s home. THAT’S OKAY! Before you even put your home on the market, you should receive a “pre-market” chore list from your realtor. Once you’ve completed the items on the list, you’ll clearly see what a “Show Ready” home looks like in a professional agents mind.

Like most new sellers, you probably freaked out a little bit when you realized that you’re going to be living in a show ready home, U N T I L I T S E L L S. You’re thinking “OH-EM-GEE, my realtor is a nut job for thinking that I can live like this until this place sells…oooo she better sell this puppy FASSSTTTT!”. Heehee…

Well, I’ve made this checklist for my sellers for when they approve a buyer’s showing appointment. It’s tremendously helped my clients stay organized and get out of the house quickly, no matter how soon the buyer’s are coming. Check it out, it might help you out too!
